New guide to help drive business growth for firms providing solar technology

Green Economy has published a new guide today, exploring the potential of the solar energy market. The guide is for installers, suppliers and providers of solar products and services, to understand the opportunity this sector presents and the key considerations needed to encourage more end-users to partake in their journey to net zero.

Solar installations increased from 1,000 per week in August 2020 up to 3,000 a week in the same month last year, and Google searches for 'solar' reached their highest ever level. Demand, has been driven by the cost of living crisis, as businesses and homeowners look to mitigate rising energy bills.

Amy House, Director of Green Economy said:

"Solar and other renewable solutions are in demand for customers looking to reduce the cost of powering their homes and workplaces. Green Economy has shared more sales opportunities for solar installations than any other green tech project since launching last year.

"This guide helps businesses unpack the potential that comes with high demand, ensuring that local firms can seize the opportunity and retain green growth within the local economy. It also highlights the need for tradespeople that are yet to switch to renewable solutions to start that process. Green Economy and our partners are on hand to support you with this process."

The guide is available for free online - follow the link below.
