The Solar Installer Accelerator is a fully funded solar PV and battery installation training course designed to accelerate businesses to Level 3 in solar and battery installations.

Our unique programme, developed in partnership with MCS Certified and local partners, provides qualified electricians with the skills and knowledge to achieve industry certifications and run a thriving solar installation business.

Solar power installation training

Course contents and eligibility requirements

The programme provides:

EAL Level 3 Qualification in Solar PV and Battery
Business growth advice from Green Economy consultants
Access to industry experts, including help securing your first installation project

The course is open to any business or sole traders meeting the following requirements:

Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671) 18th Edition & Level 3 Qualification in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations. Gold card, NVQ 3 in electrical installation or historical craft qualifications listed on the EAS.
Not currently operating in the domestic solar PV market.
Available and committed to attend the full 5-day course
Willing to complete all required paperwork including initial registration and final evaluation.
